Paula and Matt work hard and play hard. They have demanding careers but on a lazy weekend morning, we got to have some serious fun at home.

I had a blast spending a warm summer morning with them and their adorable kids, having breakfast, playing in the backyard and drawing with chalk in the sidewalk. After a perfect morning, I left feeling rejuvenated in the glow of such a wonderfully joyful family.

Life as working parents can be crazy, but every now then one gets to slow down to enjoy those perfect and fleeting moments of raising little kids. And even though we all wish sometimes we could get to the "easy" part (if there is one!!) we all know we will miss those little kids filling the house with noise and running all over the backyard playing with water.
