Flawless End to 2018!
After an amazing 2018, I could have not asked a better way to spend one of the last days of the year with one of the most fun couples I’ve ever worked with, Natalie and Austin. Given our already epic engagement session I knew I was in for a treat. The day was long but every moment was a blast.
I arrived early in the morning with my fabulous assistant. From the moment we entered the beautiful Alturia Farm house Natalie and her bridesmaids were dancing and having fun. The energy was just so positive and joyful. The guys were not in any lesser festive mood: drinking beer, watching football and just having fun at the groom suite.
Natalie and Austin had planned a full Catholic service for the ceremony. In the early afternoon, we headed to one of the most beautiful churches in Richmond, The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, in the historic Fan District. The ceremony was touching and full of unforgettable moments.
After an amazing portrait session at the cathedral, we raced back to Alturia for what ended up being one of the most fun receptions I have photographed. The couple did their big entrance to “Intergalactic Planetary” by the Beasty Boys. I think that sums up how awesome these two are. Natalie and Austin did not stop dancing until the last song was played.
The night ended with a flawless sparkler exit. Natalie, Austin, their friends, and family gave me one of the most fun nights as a wedding photographer.
