#OnHoldAtHome with Jason & family

“People are so resilient. I guess I always knew that, but this is proving it every day.”

What are your fears and/or concerns right now?

My biggest fear is the uncertainty itself (thanks, FDR.) It’s the impatience during a time when there are no sure answers. Everyone is looking to leadership for wisdom, but none of us truly know what’s next. For my boys, they’re worried someone in our family might get sick or even die.

What have you learned from living this new normal?

People are so resilient. I guess I always knew that, but this is proving it every day. I see friends and coworkers stepping up and consistently handling their own and far more. My boys are learning it’s important to stay educated and keep learning. And that it’s fun to spend more time as a family.

Do you think anything positive will come from all of this?

Yes. God I hope so. This virus is far less deadly than others we’ve seen throughout history, as well as those to come. At least that’s what the Netflix documentaries tell us (haha). The boys remarked that the earth is healthier than it's been in 50 years – that there's much less pollution. At the very least, we’ll wash our hands more.
