#OnHoldAtHome with Meaghan & family

‘This time together is definitely bringing us closer together as a family.”

What are your fears and/or concerns right now?

I am worried about everything! I’m concerned about me or a loved one getting sick. I’m worried that I’m not doing enough to protect myself and my family. I’m worried for my little baby, due any day now – for his health and for the world he will be born into. I’m worried for my friends and family who are struggling to make ends meet, and for the ones who must continue to work and risk exposing themselves and their families to this illness.

What have you learned from living this new normal?

I love to go places and have fun plans for the weekend, but these past few weeks have taught me that I really do love staying home with my family, watching movies, playing in the backyard, and just doing nothing.

Do you think anything positive will come from all of this?

I hope so. Thankfully, we have already planned to have a home birth. We miss seeing our friends and our normal daily activities, but we are grateful for each other’s company. This time together is definitely bringing us closer together as a family.
